Where the Wild Things Grow
Chibbi is an actor, poet, make up artist, singer, director, artist. These are a collection of poems inspired by his life from the age of 17 to 26. They follow the author from the beginning of his college years, through his travels abroad, his descent into chaos, his turmoil with love, his recuperation and return home, and his rebirth. Born in the world of theatre, the author fancies himself a storyteller. Contained within are facts, fictions, fantasies, fairy tales, and farfetched figments of the imagination, all of which collectively recount the author’s journey. As a product of the theatre, these poems were always written with the intention of being performed. This collection documents the best snapshot of those performances.
